North & South Outreach

The Outreach program is designed for high school students who have difficulty attending full day programs. It is for students, who for a number of reasons have difficulty in the regular high school programs as well as the regular alternative programs. It is a paper based, self paced, continuous entry program offering;

  • Apprentice and Workplace Math 10 & 11
  • English 10, 11 &12
  • Career Life Education
  • Career Life Connection
  • Work Experience
  • Physical Education 10, 11, & 12
  • Foods 12
  • Family Studies 12

The program operates at two separate sites;

North Outreach location - Neighborhood Learning Center at Chilliwack Secondary School.

                                              Hours of operation; Monday - Thursday, 12:15pm to 2:45pm

South Outreach location - Formerly known as Chance on Prest Rd.

                                              Hours of operation; Tuesday - Friday, 9am to 11:30am

Climate Action Notice -

The Chilliwack School District is committed to sustainability and has a Board Policy that articulates that the district and its staff have a responsibility to foster and reinforce a positive environmental ethic and stewardship. The District encourages students to be socially responsible, contributing citizens. On September 27, 2019, the global climate strike day, parents may excuse their child from class if they choose. These students will be recorded as absent and will be allowed to make up any academic work missed.
