Kw'íyeqel is the Halq’eméylem word meaning “to climb a hill or mountain.”
Kw'íyeqel Secondary School serves as the Alternate Education Secondary School for the Chilliwack School District. We are proud to support students from across the district and surrounding communities, providing a personalized and flexible educational environment that helps students achieve success on their individual paths toward graduation.
Our school is dedicated to fostering strong relationships, hands-on learning experiences, and a sense of belonging. Students at Kw'íyeqel benefit from smaller class sizes, individualized instruction, and access to a variety of specialized programs that extend learning beyond the traditional classroom setting.
